The latest patch notes for A One Piece Game reveal a Race Awakening update, a new island to explore, and several quality of life improvements for players.

The developers behind Roblox A One Piece Game have recently announced the Race Awakening update, which introduces a brand-new island, Fishman Island, for players to explore. Situated in the depths of the third sea, this island is home to a new civilization and community where players can learn the ways of the Fishman race and unlock hidden abilities.
To awaken their race in the game, players must first speak to the New World Scientist located in the third sea. This character will ask for various items and tasks to be completed, such as obtaining Soulless Essence from the Kraken, collecting a Race’s essence from the Sea Beast, defeating Sea Beasts and Krakens, acquiring Poneglyphs, and spending a significant amount of in-game currency. Upon completion, players will receive a Race’s soul.
Next, players must talk to Davy Johns in the third sea and provide their Race’s soul along with additional gems. With the Fishman Karate V2 update, players can unlock new techniques and abilities by speaking to the fish trainer in the third sea and meeting specific requirements, such as reaching a certain strength level, defeating Sea Beasts, awakening their Fishman race, and collecting fish energy.
In addition to the Race Awakening update, the patch notes detail several quality of life improvements. Dashing has been modified to keep characters airborne longer, and the Awakened Lightning Dash now has a sound effect, increased velocity, and a shorter cooldown. The Maze, Dungeon, and Labyrinth modes now feature a restart button, and most items can now be deleted regardless of their tradeability.
The third sea has also seen changes, as players no longer need to fulfill Poneglyph requirements to enter again once they have done so initially. The Fruit Merchant now allows players to purchase up to 100 fruits at a time and will automatically adjust purchases if they exceed inventory space.
Lastly, a new game pass and developer product have been added: the Third Sea Race Chest Locator and Instant Chest Spawner. These features will help players obtain items required for Fishman Karate V2 and future updates.

How do I awaken my race?
- Talk to New World Scientist at 3rd sea, he will ask for:
- Soulless Essence (drop from Kraken)
- A Race’s essence (drop from Sea Beast)
- 2 Sea Beast Kills
- 2 Kraken Kills
- 2 Poneglyphs
- 100,000,000,000 Beli
- 25,000 Gems
- Completing these will give you a Race’s soul.
- Talk to Davy Johns at 3rd sea and he will ask for:
- Your Race’s Soul
- 32,000 Gems.
Fishman Karate V2
Unlock the new techniques and abilities of fishman karate.
- Talk to the fish trainer in 3rd sea and meet these requirements:
- 750 Billion Beli
- 4.7k Strength
- Kill 5 Sea Beasts
- Fishman Awakened
- 4 fish energy (obtained by chests in third sea or Hody Jones boss)
QUALITY OF LIFE
- Dashing Changes
- All dashes now keep you in the air for longer just like before instead of falling rapidly
- Lightning Dash Improvements
- Awakened lightning dashes now have a sound as well as increased velocity and shorter cooldown
- Mode Restart Changes
- Maze, Dungeon and Labyrinth now all have a restart button instead of just only raids
- Item Deleting Changes
- Most items are now able to be deleted regardless if they are tradeable or not
- Third Sea Changes
- When entering third sea through the NPC the poneglyphs req will now save so you won’t need them anymore if you try to enter again
- Fruit Merchant Changes
- The maximum fruits you can buy at a time has been changed from 20 to 100
- If you attempt to buy a amount of fruits that would exceed your inventory space, it will now buy the amount it needs to be a full inventory rather than preventing the purchase
