Weaknesses/Downfalls
His biggest weakness is the disadvantages of his strength. He is pretty strict and he doesn't really listen. His opinion are often right, but some don't end up right. When he goes down a track that doesn't make sense, he does not pay attention to anything, which is a weakness for a big business leader like him.
His biggest weakness is greed. He loves money too much that it interfered with his relationship with his family for a long time. His wife left him to start a life on her own but never divorced. This was because when he young making money was the mostimportant priority, and he never paid attention to his family.
Criticism
A lot of people in the business sector criticized Buffett for his increasing profit and company takeovers, which he states is just because of jealousy. But the most shocking criticism he has gotten was from the person he learnt everything from and looked up to; Benjamin Graham. Graham thought Warrens protege in his philosophy -of investing in businesses that had great leaders- placed too much emphasis onthepersonalities of the executives. He found this approach too general for a person who was going to become very successful. Graham had more of a mathematical approach, for this reason Buffett face struggles with Berkshire Hathaway.
My Criticism
In my opinion Warren Buffett was a very successful investor on the past, however, there are a few things that I would dodifferentlythan him. For once, if I was in his situation, I would not keep investing/stock opportunities secret from my partners, rather ask them for ideas and opinions to make solid decisions in the end.
